Smokey Robinson will perform this summer at the California Mid-State Fair for an “Evening of Music & Wine.”
The legendary singer-songwriter will take the stage on Friday, July 26. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Grandstand Arena. An opening act has not yet been announced.
Robinson is known for multiple top 40 hits in the 1960s with his group, the Miracles, including “I Second That Emotion,” and “You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me.” He has also been a successful solo artist with hits like “Cruisin” and “The Agony & the Ecstasy,” he has penned several other hit singles, received numerous awards and accolades, and is a co-founder of Motown Records.
Tickets for the show range in price from $26 to $91. They’re scheduled to go on sale Friday, June 21, starting at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased on the fair’s website, by calling 1-800-909-FAIR, or at the California Mid-State Fair box office located at 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles.
