The California Mid-State Fair has announced two more headliners for its 2019 concert series.
On Friday, July 19, Billy Idol will take the stage for an “Evening of Rhythm & Brews.”
The rocker is best known for hits including “White Wedding,” “Dancing With Myself,” “Rebel Yell,” “Eyes Without a Face,” and others.
Concert-goers will be able to purchase special craft beers during this concert that usually aren’t available at the fair, including beers from Elysian, Golden Road, Firestone-Walker, Central Coast Brewing, Figueroa Mountain, and Barrel House.
The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Grandstand Arena. An opening act has not yet been announced.
Tickets include regular grandstand seating, a “Golden Circle” of premium seats, and eight-person table seating. Seats range in price from $26 to $91. Tables are $608.
Tickets will go on sale at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 10, and can be purchased on the fair’s website, by calling 1-800-909-FAIR, or by visiting the fair’s box office at 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles. To reserve a table, call 805-239-0655.
On Tuesday, July 23, the classic rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform in the Main Grandstand Arena. Country singer Chris Janson will open the show.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is best known for hits including “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” “Simple Man,” and “What’s Your Name” and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
Tickets range in price from $41 to $101 and will go on sale on Friday, May 10. Tickets can be purchased starting at 10 a.m. on the fair’s website or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR. They will be available at the fair’s box office starting at 1 p.m.
The California Mid-State Fair runs from July 17 to 28 at the Paso Robles Event Center.
