Nineties pop-rock band Smash Mouth will perform on the Frontier Stage on the first night of the 2019 California Mid-State Fair.
Shows on the Frontier Stage are free with paid fair admission.
Smash Mouth is scheduled to perform at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17.
The band is known for their hits like “All-Star,” “Walkin’ on the Sun,” “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby,” and “I’m a Believer.” Last summer, they performed at the Santa Barbara County Fair in Santa Maria.
Several other Frontier Stage acts have been announced for the 2019 Mid-State Fair.
On Thursday, July 18, the a-cappella country music group Home Free will perform at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
On Friday, July 19, a Johnny Cash tribute show called The Man in Black will take the stage at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
On Sunday, July 21, Latin music entertainer Luis Coronel will perform at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
On Monday, July 22, Christian music artist Danny Gokey will take the stage at 8 p.m. as part of the Cantinas Night of Faith. You may remember Gokey as a competitor on the 8th season of American Idol.
And on Wednesday, July 24, BERLIN featuring Terri Nunn will have two shows at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. BERLIN is best known for their 80s hits including “Take My Breath Away,” “No More Words,” and “The Metro.”
Additional Frontier Stage acts are expected to be announced in the coming months.
The California Mid-State Fair runs from July 17 to 28 at the Paso Robles Event Center.
Pre-sale admission tickets are available on the Mid-State Fair website at a cost of $12 for ages 13-61, $11 for seniors 62+, and $9 for children 6-12. Children 5 and under are admitted free of charge.
