The City of Lompoc approved three more commercial cannabis license applications this week, bringing the total number of applications approved in the city to 13.
The applicants and locations for the latest businesses are:
- Christopher Hester, 113 & 119 North A St.
- Malante Hayworth, 124 S. J St.
- Kaleb Asfaha, 1204 West Laurel Ave.
113 North A St. is a currently a coffee shop and 119 North A is an upholstery store. 124 S. J St. is currently a dance studio and 1204 West Laurel Ave. is vacant.
The City says there are other requirements that must be met by each applicant before they can open for business.
Commercial cannabis use license applications have been available to the public since March 1, 2018.
The City says to date, 27 applications have been received.
The first cannabis dispensary opened in Lompoc in January.
