CAL FIRE plans to conduct another prescribed burn in San Luis Obispo on Thursday.
Fire officials say if conditions allow, firefighters will finish the burning of about 80 acres on ranges at Camp San Luis Obispo.
Burns have previously taken place at Camp SLO ranges. Officials say this would be the final one for that task.
The burn would likely get underway between 9 and 10 a.m. and wrap up by noon, according to CAL FIRE.
Wednesday, firefighters worked to burn approximately 250 acres of grass and brush off Highway 1 at Gilardi Road in San Luis Obispo, west of Cuesta College.
Fire officials say the burn was stopped early due to changing wind conditions.
