The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect in a deadly stabbing over the weekend in Shandon.
Kejuan Guy Bynum, 26, of Atascadero is currently being held in the San Luis Obispo County Jail on a parole violation.
The sheriff’s office says Bynum has not been charged yet in relation to the stabbing. Sheriff’s officials are expected to meet with the district attorney’s office later this week to discuss potential charges against him.
Bynum was arrested on Saturday, June 1 after investigators identified him as the suspect in a stabbing that had occurred during a fight in the 200 block of Escondido Way in Shandon.
The victim, identified as Cristopher Vento Wilson, 23, of Paso Robles, reportedly died at the hospital.
Sheriff’s officials say their investigation into the incident is continuing and no other information will be released at this time.
