California Mid-State Fair looking for former pageant winners

Posted

The California Mid-State Fair is putting a call out for former Miss California Mid-State Fair Queens.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the annual pageant and the fair wants to recognize some special people.

Over the years, the competition has gone by a few different names. It started out as the “Maid of San Luis Obispo County Pageant” and was later known as “Miss California Mid-State Fair.” It’s currently known as the “Miss California Mid-State Fair Scholarship Pageant.”

Former fair queens or those who know of a former queen are asked to contact Patti Lucas at (805) 612-6971 or pglucas19@gmail.com.

The 2019 California Mid-State Fair runs from July 17 to 28 at the Paso Robles Event Center.
