The Atascadero school district is recognizing the efforts of the Greybots Team 973 by celebrating their third world championship with a celebration today on the steps of Atascadero City Hall.
The team earned their world champion title at the FIRST Robotics Competition in Houston, TX last month.
There will be music from the Atascadero High School band, cheer and STUNT teams as well as the city’s Fire Department which is providing vehicles for the team.
The team was given another celebration yesterday by the Atascadero Unified School District, County Supervisor Debbie Arnold and a representative from State Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham.
