Posted

Searchers will head out Thursday across San Luis Obispo County to look for a Nipomo man who hasn’t been heard or seen from since the beginning of the week.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office says Saul Tiznado, Jr. was entered into the Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit of the California Department of Justice after receiving the missing person’s report Tuesday afternoon. The sheriff’s detective unit is assigned to the case.

Tiznado’s longtime girlfriend, Christine Delgado, says the 41-year-old and father of five told her he was on his way home around 6 p.m. Monday and has not been heard from or seen since then.

Searchers will be meeting in Grover Beach before heading out to look for him.

Tiznado’s car is described a 1992 four-door white Honda Accord with a black hood.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the sheriff’s office at (805) 781-4540.
