People in Cambria may notice smoke Tuesday as firefighters burn brush to reduce fire risks in the area.
Cambria Fire Department posted to Twitter saying firefighters will burn brush piles at Cambria Pines Rd., south of Kathyrn Dr.
Cal Fire SLO and the Fire Safe Council of SLO County are conducting the burn operation.
People in the area are asked to be mindful of emergency vehicles and look out for crews at work.
Those sensitive to smoke should limit time spent outside during prescribed burns.

Firefighters are also performing prescribed burns in Morro Bay this week.
