The California Mid-State Fair is now accepting applications for the 2019 Miss California Mid-State Fair Scholarship Pageant.
Contestants must be between the ages of 17 to 24 years old on opening day of the 2019 fair, be a current resident of San Luis Obispo County, and have never been married.
The contestants will compete in five categories — interview, platform of service, talent, swimsuit, and evening wear.
If selected as queen or a princess, the winners must be able to attend every day of the 2019 fair and participate in public events such as introducing performers, taking pictures, and meeting with various dignitaries.
The queen and princesses will also receive prizes from local businesses.
Applications are due by Friday, April 26 at 4 p.m. They can be picked up at the Paso Robles Event Center located at 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles or online at www.midstatefair.com.
The pageant will take place on Tuesday, July 16, at 6:30 p.m. on the Frontier Stage.
