Orcutt native Pryor Baird will open for country music star Blake Shelton at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles.
Baird made the announcement Thursday on social media.
The 35-year-old made it to the top 8 on NBC’s “The Voice” in 2018. He was a member of Shelton’s team on the hit show.
Baird grew up playing guitar, listening to records, and leading a blues band. He dropped out of college where he was studying fruit science in order to pursue a career in music.
Both Baird and Shelton will take the stage on Sunday, July 21.
Shelton last performed at the Mid-State Fair in 2016 and tickets sold out in a matter of hours.
Tickets for the upcoming performance will range in price from $51 to $156 and go on sale Friday, March 1.
Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. on the sale date at www.midstatefair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR.
