Northeasterly winds will be breezy Tuesday morning before shifting out of the northwest by the afternoon. Sustaining winds will be around 10-15 miles per hour throughout the afternoon with the potential for wind gusts to range from 25-30 mph. Weather models show that winds will start to taper off slightly on Wednesday.

As a result of the gusty conditions, skies will be mostly clear on Tuesday. Temperatures will remain below average for Tuesday with daytime highs ranging from the low to upper 70s for the coastal and inland valleys. The coastal regions will have average maximum daily temperatures from the low to mid-60s.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, a weak ridge will start to build over California, which will in turn cause temperatures to heat up by five to ten degrees.
