It felt almost like summertime along the Central Coast Sunday, as warm temperatures and sunshine were seen in most areas.
Places like the Santa Ynez Valley inched towards 80 degrees while places closer to the coast like Morro Bay didn't make it out of the 60's.
This warming trend will continue into Monday, along with some low clouds and patchy fog Morning morning.
Wind gusts will still be something worth monitoring as there are chances of gusts topping 40-45 mph in mountain areas and 20-30 mph in the valleys.
As north winds are increasing, offshore winds will help cool off inland areas.
The winds are currently strong enough to generate a Small Craft Advisory that extends into Tuesday.
The National Weather Service is still suggesting the chances of rain next weekend, as this high pressure system loosens its grip on the West Coast.
As more low pressure makes its way in, we are anticipating cooler temperatures by Friday.
Have a great week!
