Good morning Central Coast!

Thursday turned out to be a great day across our region. The interiors saw lots of sunshine and warmed into the upper 80s. Coastal valleys also cleared but it took a bit more time, 60s and 70s there. Beaches is where most of the cloud cover stayed but thankfully a few hours of sunshine suck through for the afternoon in SLO County.

To kick off your Friday there is quite a bit of cloud cover in place for most of our communities. Thankfully it is mostly well above the surface, not too many visibility concerns, that being said it is still a cloudy morning.

Today we have similar conditions to Thursday, strong onshore flow combined with a persistent marine layer will be the story.

Interiors will clear quickly, just wait a little longer for the coastal valleys and cloud will be slow to clear if at all by the beaches. There are a few beach communities that may see some sunshine thanks to weak afternoon offshore flow and perfect topography. Avila and Pismo Beaches can expect some PM Sunshine.

Temps today are much cooler for the interior valleys but on the whole not bad for the region. Here are your high temps for Friday.

Into next week we are expecting more of the same, with some temperature variability. We should see weaker onshore flow by Tuesday following a trough's passage through the Great Basin. While the current forecast remains conservative with little change in temperatures, but more sunshine will likely come into play.

Have a great day Central Coast!
