Good morning Central Coast!

To kick off the morning conditions are active, winds, waves and chilly temps are in place.

That has prompted many alerts for this morning. Let's break them down piece by piece.

High Surf Advisory through 11 p.m. Tuesday. Waves 9-12 ft with dangerous rip currents for all western beaches.
Wind Advisory through 11 a.m. Tuesday. Gusts up to 50 mph along the south coast with gusts to 25 mph for most communities.
Frost Advisory through 9 a.m. Tuesday. Temperatures may fall into the low 30s, and frost damage to sensitive plants is possible.

Thankfully dense morning fog is limited so there are no visibility concerns to start the morning.

With the onshore winds temps are significantly cooler than seasonal normals and recent temps. Here is a look at the temps for Tuesday. All but the western beaches will be in the 60s.

With our strong winds come the waves, here is a look at the waves from early this morning.

Here is a look at the extended forecast, it is going to stay active with cool and windy conditions. Thursday a passing shower is possible in northern SLO county but that will just be a tease of a larger system that could bring widespread scattered showers Saturday.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!
