Daytime highs for the Central Coast are returning to near average levels over the weekend. Some inland valley locations, like Paso Robles, will be about five degrees below average Saturday with a forecasted temperature of 87 degrees. For Friday, the maximum daytime high will be 89 degrees.

Before the weekend starts, low clouds and fog will be fairly widespread along the coast and over valley locations through the morning commute.

The winds will be mild to moderate Friday and really through the rest of the weekend. At their peak, these onshore winds will range from 10-20 miles per hour and sundowner winds along the south coast will also back off through the weekend before picking up again next week.

Daytime highs along the coast are expected to range from the mid-60s to low 70s with cooler conditions towards the north coast. For the coastal valleys, there will continue to be a mix of 70s and 80s Friday through Sunday with patchy fog before 11 a.m.

The start of next week will be warmer, particularly for the inland valleys, as an upper-level ridge nudges in from the northwest.
