Thursday will be mostly sunny with the exception of morning low clouds and fog. As of 4:45 a.m., the satellite radar was showing inland valley clouds and fog across San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. These cloudy conditions will continue through late morning ahead of afternoon clearing.

For the rest of the Central Coast, skies will be mostly sunny from the morning through the afternoon and evening hours. Daytime highs are trending down slightly for certain areas. Most of the coastal valley regions will stay close to the 70s Thursday, while the inland valley communities will likely reach the 80s. For the beaches, some will be warmer than others. Pismo Beach could reach 79 degrees Thursday while Cayucos could be closer to the low 70s.

Northwesterly winds will range from 10-15 miles per hour with wind gusts up to 25 mph by the afternoon and evening hours. Due to the windy conditions, any lingering stratus should be pushed out by Thursday night.

Morning low clouds will make a return Friday, which will be followed by a clear and warm afternoon. Weekend temperatures will be favorable, ranging from the upper 60s to the low 80s.
