Wednesday will be another day of hot inland valley temperatures. The interior communities will face daytime highs from the upper 90s to the low 100s through Thursday. The good news is that these conditions will change by the end of the week when a trough over the northwest will move in over the west coast and onshore flow will reduce temperatures across the coastal and interior valleys.
The coastal valleys and beaches will see some fog throughout the morning commute, but most coastal regions will clear by the afternoon. As far as temperatures go, it will be warm and humid throughout the afternoon as daytime highs peak between the upper 70s and upper 80s for the coastal valleys. At the coast, slightly cooler conditions will persist with daytime highs from the mid-60s to the low 70s.
Marine layer will start to deepen as temperatures cool down Friday through the start of next week.
