A high pressure system will continue to linger over the state Friday, which means the Central Coast will get another day of above seasonal averages.
An upper low pressure system will move in over the area over the weekend. This system will bring cloudy skies to the area for much of Friday. Daytime highs for the inland and coastal valleys will still range from the upper 70s to the low 80s, while the beaches will be right around the mid-70s.
Northwesterly winds will be moderate Friday, staying between five and 15 miles per hour at their peak.
Low pressure will take over the forecast through the weekend, which means cooler temperatures and a chance of rain Sunday. By Saturday, temperatures will be making a return to near-seasonal averages, and by Sunday there's a 20%-50% chance of light showers across the area. Rainfall totals will be light, and it's possible some areas won't see more than a .10'' of rain.
