Firefighters will remain on scene to mop up.
Crews are asking driver in the area to be careful and slow down when driving through the area.

ORIGINAL STORY (4:00 p.m.) - CAL FIRE SLO is on scene of a reported vegetation fire east of Shandon.
In a tweet, fire officials said the fire is burning two acres along Highway 41 and Highway 46 east near the Cholame Y.
