UPDATE (6:55 p.m.): According to fire officials, forward progress on the fire was stopped at approximately 3:40 p.m. The final acreage of the fire was 10 acres.
Crews will remain on scene to mop up the area through Monday afternoon.

Fire crews are responding to a report of a vegetation fire off the 7800 Block of Old Careaga Ranch Road, Northwest of Los Alamos.
Officials say the fire has grown to 3 acres so far and could reach up to 30 acres. The fire is spreading slowly, and no structures are threatened.
