Smoke may be visible in the San Simeon area throughout the morning as crews work to mop up a fire.
The call came in shortly after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday for reports of the fire in the San Simeon Creek area.
CAL FIRE says smoke is expected to be visible in the area until early to mid-afternoon.
Heart Castle, Cambria and Templeton firefighters assisted.
No word on the cause or how many acres burned.
