Weather conditions have turned favorable for firefighters working the Dolan Fire burning near Big Sur.

The fire broke out on Aug. 18 and has burned 113,486 acres and is only 26% contained.

Fire officials say fire activity was minimal Thursday night due to the coastal marine layer, cooler temperatures and higher relative humidity levels.

The fire has destroyed a total of 14 structures and damaged four others. As of Friday morning there are 778 fire personnel on scene.
