UPDATE (5:22 p.m.) - The Stoney Fire is now 100% contained after burning 5.4 acres, according to fire officials.

CAL FIRE SLO shared this photo of a 25-year-old tortoise named Orion that was safely evacuated during the fire and unharmed.

UPDATE (2:15 p.m.) - CAL FIRE SLO reports that forward progress of the fire has been stopped at five acres.

(1:42 p.m.) - Firefighters are on the scene of a brush fire in rural Paso Robles with structures threatened.

The fire was reported at about 1:15 p.m. along the 6000 block of Stoney Place.

CAL FIRE SLO initially reported the fire to be approximately five acres.
