A brush fire burned less than a 1/2-acre in Vandenberg Village on Friday.
The fire was first reported just after 8:30 a.m. near the 700 block of Mercury Ave.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, forward progress of the fire was stopped at 10:08 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
