The dry weather continues Tuesday for the Central Coast, but cloudy skies are expected throughout the morning commute.

Although there is a ridge of high pressure over Southern California, it will not be strong enough to keep clouds out of the area for most Tuesday. Daytime highs will remain on the cooler side with temperatures staying close to the upper 50s for the inland valleys, and right around the low to mid-60s for the coastal valleys and beaches. Northwesterly winds will only reach moderate levels Tuesday with winds from eight to 20 miles per hour at their peak.

Looking ahead to the weekend, not much is changing other than the slight chance for rain for some of the inland valley communities, like Paso Robles, Saturday morning. If the rain does happen, it will be short-lived and light.
