Fire weather conditions stick around today and Friday for much of the Central Coast.

Hot and dry conditions have prompted a Heat Advisory for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties that expires on Friday at 5 p.m.

Daytime highs along the coast will range from the upper 80s to the mid-90s.

The coastal valleys will mostly be around the low to mid 90s. The inland valleys will also be hot and looking to reach mid to upper 90's.

Moderate to strong Santa Ana winds are being monitored more south in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.

With increased fire risk, Public Safety Power Shutoffs could also be prompted by local utility companies.

There is some relief in sight as winds and temperatures are expected to taper off by this weekend.

Daytime highs look to drop off nearly 20 degrees in some places by Saturday. Offshore flow weakens too.
