A strong batch of high pressure moving into the region on Sunday is expected to bring much warmer temperatures into much of the inland areas through the end of the week.

High temperatures paired with high humidity may create conditions necessary for heat advisories for inland areas by midweek.

People attending the Mid-State Fair throughout the coming week should be prepared for hot temperatures throughout the afternoon hours before a slight reprieve around sunset.

Rising dew points and temperatures could allow for thunderstorms in the Santa Barbara County mountains.

Low clouds forming Saturday night will cling to the coastal cities through Tuesday before mixing out.

Fog is also expected for the immediate Central Coast during that time.
