After what turned out to be a warm weekend, similar conditions are carrying over into the start of the week.

The morning commute will likely have foggy conditions before late morning clearing. A dense fog advisory isn’t in place, but the fog could be difficult to drive through at times.

The interior valleys will have another warm day with daytime highs expecting to range from the low to mid-80s. Not too far behind will be the coastal valleys with temperatures from the low to mid-70s and mostly sunny skies. Cooler conditions can be found along the coast with favorable temperatures close to the  mid-60s. Sustaining winds will be mild today, but a breeze is expected to pick up by the afternoon and through the early evening with gusts that could reach up to 20 miles per hour.

Another chance of rain is expected by the end of the week and weather models are showing it could bring some significant rain for this time of year. More details on that storm system to come.
