High pressure is building over the Central Coast for the next few days. it’ll produce some 15-20mph northwesterly winds, mostly sunny skies and warmer weather.

The interior valleys should hit the low 80s Thursday, while the coastal valleys will see another day in the lower 70s due to the afternoon onshore winds.

The northwesterly winds will decrease on Friday into Saturday which will allow the marine layer to develop along the shoreline.

We are still looking at a cutoff low moving over the area Sunday into Tuesday of next week for more clouds, cooler temps and the same change of showers and isolated thunderstorms we saw last weekend into early this week.

After that low departs we’ll return to high pressure and warmer conditions for the second half of next week.
