A weak cold front starts sliding into our area Tuesday and meanders south on Wednesday but the frontal characteristics weaken as the storm moves south. This will limit rainfall for most, looks like only northern parts of the SLO county northcoast have potential to exceed .50″, elsewhere .10-.25″ in SLO county light to .25″ in Santa Barbara county through Wednesday.

After that we’ll see dry weather into the weekend with a warming trend that will bring 80 degree temps to some on Sunday.

The front is making slow progress and we could even see low cloud and fog development near the coast due to the marine inversion in place.

Temps will cool a bit Tuesday and Wednesday due to some clouds and showers so high will fall back into the 60s and we’ll slowly turn a temperature corner on Thursday and Friday before a very pleasant weekend in sight.
