Tuesday has been a little cooler overall following the weak cold front that brought strong wind to our region. Peak winds reached 66 mph in the Lompoc Hills Tuesday. Montecito Hills saw wind gusts at 60 mph. Refugio Hills and Gaviota Coast each saw gusts over 55 mph.
Breezy conditions are expected to stick around through Thursday, possibly into Saturday. Wind will likely be around 15 to 25 mph. Wind advisories remain in place for LA and Ventura Counties.

High pressure is starting to build in our region which will lead to offshore wind and above normal temperatures through Monday. Skies are expected to remain clear through most of the week.
The northerly winds have produced some of the coldest seawater temperatures of the year, dropping to 49 degrees Tuesday morning.
