Light showers taper off Sunday night

Posted
and last updated

A few scattered showers or areas of drizzle will continue through Sunday afternoon, tapering off by tonight.

Monday is somewhat of a transition day as high pressure will move into the Central Coast. Expect partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures with areas of dense fog developing in the overnight hours.

Clouds increase Monday into Tuesday, with a few rain showers developing by late Tuesday morning. Tuesday night into Wednesday, rain showers turn heavy with gusty winds. Southerly winds will reach 30 to 45 mph along the coastline. This system is expected to produce between three and five inches.

Showers are expected to linger Wednesday into Thursday morning.
