The Central Coast already had some temperatures in the 70s today with even warmer temps expected into the weekend. The dry and clear conditions with cool nights and mild afternoon are driven by high pressure. The jet stream ridge over California looks to linger thru the end of the month.

Breezy night and morning offshore winds will reach 10-20mph (with higher gusts thru passes and canyons). Those winds look to turn back onshore in the afternoon at 5-15 mph.

That high-pressure ridge will lose its grip to begin February. Models are indicating an active-wet pattern developing then.
