Clear conditions expected through the week

A dry cold front is passing over the area Monday night into Tuesday morning, bringing a chance of rain to the northern slopes of LA and Ventura counties.

High clouds continue to stream over the area but moisture will soon push eastward, leaving behind clear skies. There will be enough wind to keep the clouds away from the coastlines in the evening hours. Northerly winds may see gusts close to advisory levels across southern Santa Barbara County.

High pressure moves in mid-week, bringing windy conditions and above normal temperatures into Thursday.

Looking into the weekend, there’s a slight chance of light rain across northern San Luis Obispo County by Friday evening.
