A weak and fast-moving cold front is moving down the Central Coast Saturday afternoon with light rain showers across much of the area. As that system moves south, it will likely weaken bringing only a slight chance of showers to Santa Barbara.

Rainfall amounts are expected to total 0.10 inches or less. Northern San Luis Obispo County is expected to see most of the rainfall.

More dash than splash, so far today, but nice visuals! #beonksby

Cool and windy conditions will stick around in many regions tonight with wind advisories through the Santa Barbara County mountains and south coast. Wind gusts are expected to reach the 35 to 45 mph range with isolated gusts as high as 50 mph.

Sunday, expect partly sunny skies with the exception of occasional showers near the Kern County line. Brisk, dry air will stick around until another round of showers is expected to hit by Tuesday, possibly lingering into Thursday.
