If you thought it was hot Wednesday, wait until Thursday afternoon.
Chilly morning temperatures in the low 40s and low 50s will quickly heat up to the 70s and 80s by the afternoon.
The beaches are evening getting close to the 80s, while the coastal and inland valleys will be close to the upper 80s with the potential to break through to the low 90s. Winds will be mild to moderate throughout the afternoon with areas like the North Coast getting close to 20 miles per hour in the morning. High pressure and morning and evening offshore flow is keeping the Central Coast hot at least through Saturday.
Sunday night is when conditions will start to shift and marine layer and fog will return to the area. Temperatures will feel noticeably cooler by Monday and will drop by about 10 degrees, which will carry over through the rest of the week.
