Warmer daytime highs, high winds, and low humidity will heighten fire weather concern for the Central Coast over the next couple of days.

As a result, a fire weather warning will remain in effect through 8:00 p.m. Tuesday for the interior valleys. Winds will range from 10-20 miles per hour with potential for wind gusts to get close to 30 mph.

Most of Southern California will remain under similar warnings for the first part of the week as dry and warm conditions blanket during the Santa Ana Wind event.

Back on the Central Coast, daytime highs for the interior valleys are going to be warm this week, mostly staying around the low to mid-80s through the week. The coastal valleys will stay close to the upper 70s to mid-80s over the next couple of days. Offshore flow will also bring warmer, drier conditions to the beaches and keep temperatures around the low to mid-70s. As a result of the offshore flow, expect mostly sunny skies for most of the week.
