We’ll see night and morning clouds thru the weekend near the coast while some inland early clouds are also possible before clearing. Beaches look to stay in the 60s over the weekend with the coastal valleys in the low to mid 70s and inland highs in the lower 80s. Sunday could be a bit warmer with some offshore flow early in the day.

Monday into Wednesday a low pressure system drops along the CA coast and spins over the area for some showers, mostly Tuesday-Wednesday. Models continue to struggle with the amounts possible with the American GFS suggesting light to about .30″ with the European model returning to a wetter solution suggesting .25-75″. Regardless it looks like the new rain year which begins Oct 1 will actually get off to a quick start.

After the rain departs late next week some offshore winds should develop Thursday and Friday for warming temps.
