Temps start another warm-up

Posted

Offshore winds will develop over the next couple nights and last thru the morning hours driving a little bit of warming and helping to keep skies mostly clear around the area.

Inland temps jump Wednesday inland into the upper 80s and low 90s by Thursday.  Warm inland temps last thru the weekend with some slight cooling back into the upper 80s early next week.

At the coast, temps will lift into the mid to upper 70s at the coastal valleys Wednesday with low to mid 80s Thursday and Friday before backing off into the mid to upper 70s for the weekend and early next week.

Beaches are interesting, I still think there is some marine influence Wednesday but less Thursday and Friday so temps in the 60s tomorrow and warming into the 70s to close the week before coming back a few degrees into early next week with night and morning clouds returning.  Windy conditions also develop near the coast Sunday and Monday with winds up to 25mph at times.

In terms of rain, some models are showing signs of showers in early October however this is at the very end of the model run which is highly speculative.  It bears watching, but even if it happens it doesn’t look like much.
