Nice weekend weather on tap

Posted

We saw a little offshore this morning but winds have turned back around to onshore and we should see more of this over the weekend.  Saturday looks to be the coolest day of the extended forecast, but still very mild.  Some marine layer may return later overnight into early Saturday but more breeze should give us plenty of sun over the weekend.

There is a trough and a cold front over the Pac NW and the proximity will keep the marine depth up and the breeze in play, especially Saturday.

We’ll see some locally gusty winds in part of SB county over the next few evenings with the N-NW winds.  But that’ll keep skies clear this weekend for the Southcoast.

I see coastal valleys in the lower to mid 70s with beaches in the 60s over the weekend with inland temps in the lower 80s.

A little warming trend early next week (a few degrees) but by Thursday and Friday we should see 90s return inland with upper 70s and low 80s in the coastal valleys and beaches in the 60s and 70s.

No rain in the forecast yet.
