High pressure has built in over California. This will produce clear skies and hot weather inland for the next 4 day before the ridge weakens and temperatures return to more seasonal temperatures early next week.
At the coast the story is a little different. I think the coastal valleys warm into the upper 70s to mid 80s but afternoon winds will pull temps down each afternoon. Winds up to 25mph in the afternoon will wane in the evening. Closer to the beaches some night and morning cloud cover should develop but I still think most beaches will get into the 70s for the next 4 days.
Once temps come back a bit early next week I think they’ll stay seasonal thru the end of the month.
