Mild temperatures Monday ahead of warming beginning Tuesday

To kick-off this week, daytime highs are still on the cooler side and below normal throughout the Central Coast. Temperatures at the beaches will mostly be in the mid-60s and the coastal valleys will be right around the low to mid-70s. The inland valley temperatures will continue to be on the warmer side in the mid to upper 80s, but that won’t last for long.

By Tuesday, as high pressure continues to build, the interior valley temperatures will start to climb back into the low 90s, and by Wednesday those temperatures will be close to triple digits.

Patchy morning fog and marine layer will mostly burn off by the afternoon, but expect lingering clouds. Daytime winds are looking to be fairly mild and within 10-20 mile per hour range on Monday, remaining below advisory level.
