Winds will start to blow as weekend nears

Posted

The pattern of night and morning cloud cover near the coast with partial clearing continues into Thursday but Friday into the weekend much stronger afternoon winds develop.  Those winds will help to mix out marine clouds but they are NW winds which will keep temps from getting too warm.

Thursday we’ll see another day with a lot of 60s for highs at the beaches and coastal valleys with inland valleys pushing into the mid to upper 70s.

Winds Friday look 15-30mph near the coast with 20-35mph Saturday.  Some advisories may be needed for the winds.

Another lobe of mid-level low pressure develops early next week to keep temps controlled but after Tuesday it looks like high pressure starts to build for some warming temps, especially inland.
