Warm and dry conditions are expected to continue through the weekend. Some sea breeze is already forming over the coastal plains, which is expected to push into the valleys.
Starting late Sunday, expect an increase in high clouds and cooler temperatures. There may be pockets of dense fog forming near the coast.
Sunday night, low pressure moves into northern California bringing a few chances of showers. Areas north of Santa Barbara have a good chance of rain, but not a lot of it. At the most, the Santa Lucia Range could see around 0.25 inches.
Rain will not be significant with this system, but there are going to be impacts. Northwest winds are expected to trigger a wind advisory. Hazardous driving and boating conditions are expected.
Monday night into Tuesday, snow levels will drop to around 3,500 feet. Snow could impact mountain roads as a result.
