Winds quickly turn around

Posted

Last night a cold front flew thru the Central Coast and produced a little rain but (less than .10") but high pressure is building in behind that departed front.  Right now that means strong NW winds, up to 60mph gusts in the SB county mountains.  That wind has also produced high surf.  There are advisories for all of that and further details are available on our weather app.

Winds will quickly turn offshore tonight and already Friday and Saturday look significantly warmer, back into the mid-70s for some.  The warm-up is brief, another onshore event starts Sunday for more clouds and cooler temps.  Monday another front flies thru the area and produces more showers, less than .25".  Yet another system looks to arrive next Wednesday or Thursday.
