Wind Advisory issued July 26 at 8:31PM PDT until July 27 at 3:00AM PDT by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
Wind Advisory for the Santa Barbara County Mountains. This
advisory is in effect until 3 AM PDT Saturday.

* WINDS…Areas of northwest to north winds 15 to 30 mph with
gusts up to 45 mph shifting to more northerly after midnight.

* TEMPERATURE…Afternoon temperatures from 97 to 107 degrees.
Evening temperatures will cool down to the mid 80s to low 90s.
Low temperatures overnight will be much warmer than normal.

* IMPACTS…Very hot conditions create a dangerous situation in
which heat illnesses are possible for those who are sensitive to
heat, especially those without effective cooling or adequate
hydration. Temperatures inside vehicles, even if the windows are
partially open, can quickly rise to life-threatening levels.
Gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles.
A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. Heat illnesses are possible for those who are sensitive
to heat, especially those without effective cooling or adequate
hydration. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned
room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and
neighbors.

When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.
