Coming in as an 8-seed in the Central Section Division I playoffs, the Mission Prep Royals needed just one game to earn themselves a bid to the CIF State Basketball Championship tournament.
UT Rio Grande Valley commit, JJ Howard went for 32 points as the Royals will hit the road to play the one-seed Clovis West Feb. 17.
