Our KSBY Clutch Performer for Week 2 of Friday Night Highlights is Righetti junior Kidasi Nepa.
With his team locked in a 21-21 tie late in the fourth quarter of last Friday's matchup with Lompoc, Nepa picked off a bobbled pass and returned it for the go-ahead, and eventual, game-winning touchdown.
It sealed a dramatic, come-from-behind victory for the Warriors in which they trailed the Braves 21-0 with 8:35 to play in the game. Righetti topped Lompoc, 28-21.
Nepa also scored Righetti's first points of the game with a one-yard rushing touchdown.
With the win, Righetti improved to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors will be back in action in Week 3 as they travel to crosstown foe, Pioneer Valley for a 7 P.M. kickoff.
